yea .. painted brakes dont last long at all .. i did 5 coats and it only last like 5 - 7 months .. grr

 

what exactly did you use and how long did it take to dry?

really? did you use that high temp engine paint? did you prep the suraface too? btw, i didn't use any clear enamel or lacquer finish. i'll probably retouch/redo them again when i get my rims.

vtecaccord01... i used duplicolor high temp engine paint. i let it to dry overnight cuz i was lazy to put them on at night. it also cures when your calipers get hot.

I used hightemp engine paint (not enamel) and they've been on my car for about 1year. Its got some chips, there mostly covered in brake dust.
