Default Can you elaborate on the brake pad change for Accords?

Yes, pretty much the author blames the friction material. Says it is uneven deposits of friction material onto the rotor. Most of the piece is info supporting his assertion. His position seems to be that quiet dustless oem pads are prone to cause this problem.

My mech-engineer bro is a big German car guy, (owns Audi & BMW). He says that great brakes make noise and ugly dust and that is the price you pay.

If they are right, then until I change the pad compound to something different, I will be likely to develop the same trouble over and over. And the dealer's experiences with other 03 Accords seems to bear this out.

Can you elaborate on the brake pad change for Accords?
When did this change occur for production?
Are the new pads available in the dealer parts channel and how can I be certain to get the new compound?

Thanks for your help.

let me look into it, I don't think they changed the pads yet but they did change them before on like the odessey for being to hard. This is my thoery however. He's right though, good brakes make noise and dust, A guy wanted some racing brakes put on his rsx at our shop and after he complainted and he didn't believe me when I told him the brakes are going to be loud until they get super hot and will make alot of dust on his nice wheels.
