Default hazy headlights

I'm taking my shitty-light-producing-dual-projectors out & putting my factory headlights back in & the lenses are kinda hazy. What is the best thing to use to clear them up??? THANKS

I know, I know......."Do a search", but it's 6:30am & I gotta leave for work in 5 minutes so just help me out

I've read other posts about people using toothpaste or using a really fine sand paper. 1600 grit or so? Do a search or maybe someone else will post with the correct grit.

I would go to a place that sells lexan tubing and sheets of polycarbonate and crap. they should have liquid polish that would work really well. it has microbeads in it that do the work.

I used it on some lexan tuning and it worked great. I got it from a friend that worked at a place that worked with plastics alot, so I dont know exactly where to buy it retail.

but they definately make polishes specifically for this type of plastic.

just take some swirl and scratch remover and use a buffer on it, or even an orbital, or if you dont have one of those just apply it by hand. let it sit for about 5 minutes, then wipe it away. then apply some type of finishing wax or polish and that should bring back some of the shine. or you can try some of the plastic polish.

I've heard something like that before (Toothpaste) but not for the Headlights. I read it somewhere, people use it to clean up theirs wrist watch (glass).

Perhaps it would do the same trick.

Give the Toothpaste a try, nothing to lose but your Headlight might smell like a "Toothpaste" for a while.
