Chrome wheels on a Corvette looks much better than chrome wheels on an Accord.

Leave chrome to the big body sedans and SUV's.

I like the first choice you posted. Those BBS RG-R are about my favorite wheel, and they look somewhat like those.

I'd get any shade of silver...just not chrome.

Here's a pic of a 2003 Accord Coupe with some Silver 19' Axis Wheelmesh II rims and a nice drop. The car belongs to 00&03Accords on v6performance.net. I think these are some nice mesh rims, they come in 17' and 19'.

thanks alot murphman331!

that's exactly the type of info I need to make my decision. that guy's drop is even similar to mine. he's actually a little lower judging by the fendergaps but my body kit probably makes me lower to the ground.

I think 19's are too big for me. I live in New England so some of the roads are pretty bad and I'm not looking forward to bending any wheels or blowing out tires. I think I'll go with the ACE Arius I posted above (here is is again):

you guys made some pretty convincing arguments against chrome but I still think I like it. Up here we only get to show our cars off 5 months a year so we need all the help I can get. If I was going to have them on 12 months/year I'd probably get a hyperblack finish or something.

WORD, if you aint in a Benz, BMW, Lexus, ect... you don't really need to be messing with Chrome IMO

damn,

maybe I should listen to you guys, I'm new to this honda world. considering it's probably an extra $150 per corner for chrome maybe i'll forget about it.

I guess I was swayed by some show car pics like this:

you guys give good advice, I think i'll stick around. I already really like the stuff I'm reading about tinting taillights and blackhousing headlights etc.

[edit: darn, now I'm reading that if I don't get chrome, the ACE arius only comes in hyperblack w/ machined lip. I don't know if I want that 2-tone look.

and on a misc. note, check out the great software they have over at 1010tires.com for checking out rims on vehicles:

what are those? 36's???]

I saw these on a G35 and fell in luv with them (Giovanna - Genoa) I think they were 18" or 19". I'm gonna get them or the Katana - KR-7 .
They both come in chrome.

Interesting comments about vettes and chrome. I think vettes are one of the few cars that look good with chrome wheels. I hate when people state style opinion as fact.

I hear you Warpt, its hard to make a choice... It took me about a month of buying mags and cruising the net looking for my wheels. I, for one, am happy with the choice. Next time I think I would go for something a little racier, like a Monsoon in a polished alum look.
