they are the results of dumb #@%@ people who cause trouble/issues and thus become a danger to law enforcement... hence the need for tint laws. =\

i live in concord too, and maaaan, good luck finding a "nice" cop (as you so eloquently put it). just be glad it wasn't pleasant hill. they would have found at least 2 or 3 more things wrong with it!

i hear ya man. i got pulled over for no front plate (that i understand, but when i purchased the car it never came w/ one) and a modified exhaust ticket (pig put non-fixable) for my Apexi WS exhaust which is freakin almost quieter than my stock exhaust. damn pigs.

i read up on the vehicle code he cited me for and he had no reason to put non-fixable on the violation, in most cases pigs are suppose to allow the motorist a chance to prove that the exhuast is legal or fix it. what a dickhead. i plan on getting my exhaust decibel tested and fight this son of a bitch.

I never understood why CA has laws against tinting your front windows. Suffice to say, when I moved to CO, I was kindof surprised that it was legal here. Anyways, best of luck!

FWIW, I can only guess at a couple of reasons. Officer safety may be an issue (not being able to see inside the vehicle), and the other may be likened to a driver wearing sunglasses at night.:dunno:
