I got a ticket in oakland for front tint...it was cloudy. Luckily the cop didn't get me for front windshield tint. But he did get me for front license plate. Just find a friend to sign it off.

When you buy a new car in CA there are no plates on it, and the dealer doesn't issue them (like in PA). All you have to do is wait until the #$@%* DMV sends them. There's a little white sticker in the windshield that contains all the temp licensing info.
