Really. Pretty dumb to go on advertised power. Like I was reading a story where a guy got duped into buying an M3 that had been salvaged like twice (he didnt know this) and had tons of problems(didnt know that either), and he hated the way it drove. But he still bought it. At that point, you gotta ask yourself :wtf:

Try adding K&N and Exhaust. I have taken v6 6Gen's on a weekly basis. The car is quick.

I have a 2003 automatic LX V6 coupe and have raced my friends 5 speed 03 with the 4 cylinder. He stays about 1/2 to a full car length behind up to 60mph and then I just walk away quickly. I have run a best of 14.98 at 94mph in the 1/4. I can promise you that even with an intake and exhaust the 4 banger wont even come close to that.

No. a 5 speed and a good driver doesn't make up for 70-80 horsepower.

Does anyone know what the outcome of a race between a 2003 5 speed manual 4cyl Accord lx and a 2003 Civic Si would be?

I think maybe the accord would win, not sure though.

Wow, that's a tough one. Accord has more torque(and probably more horsepower at the wheels), Civic is lighter. I'd say that it'd be a driver's race.

I love when someone beats a car in a race and then they declare that " the 4 cylinder Accord with the 5 speed is faster than the new V6 Accord". I hate to break it to you but all that means is that either the V6 wasnt racing you at all or he just got a late start because anyone with an automatic Accord has to just slam the gas pedal to the floor and watch you vanish in there rear view mirror. Those cars are not close at all in the quarter so I have to belive that the guy in the V6 wasnt racing. Both drivers being equal the V6 automatic coupes with beat the 4 cylinder 5 speeds by at least 5 car lengths in the quarter. All it says when you won is that the other driver had no clue what was going on. It doesnt mean that your car is faster by any stretch of the imagination. If you want to race an automatic V6 coupe just get an intake and exhaust for your 5 speed 4 cylinder and I would love to race you bone stock.
