This shock setup is exactly what I am thinking to go with, since I am kinda tight on budget. Cheapest setup I've ever heard
Just wondering, why does it matter if Neuspeed makes thier springs or has someone else make em? If they perform well, I don't care if they're made by a midget with down syndrome

I think the GR-2 is just a performance shock for stock springs, but maybe for Eibach Prokit or a simple 1" drop.

You might want to get the GR-2 cause its cheaper but if something goes wrong you will need to get more shocks.
Im only droping an 1 1/2" so im sure it will be ok, the tokico blues arent made to be dropped too low but I was sitting on H & R race springs that dropped it about 2-2.5" all the way around and didnt have any problems. And like I said, im only going 1 1/2" this time so I think im gonna bite the bullet and get these, all 4 for $160, you can't beat that!

It doesn't matter. I am not busting on Neuspeed. They do have good reputation, and I believe there's a reason. All I am saying is that I have a preference. It's like Acer was an OEM for other computer companies back then...they made products just as promising as the brand names.

EliteAccord, you are making me shaky on buying these shocks now. I think I will e-mail KYB and see if their technicians can help me out here. Yes, incredible price, but I think if you really wanna save in the long run, (on installation fees, time, trouble...) you should go with something that assures your lowered ride. I mean, I want to do it right all at once because suspension is important, and it's a painful hell to have any problems. I don't have a shop and the knowledge to install them correctly. So when I am gonna spend $250 to have a speedshop hook up these shocks/springs, I am making sure I am getting a good, lowered ride. I don't know if 1"-1.5" is fine on these shocks, but I will e-mail KYB and let you know.

Just the same, what if I think the AGX are too stiff even on the softest setting? The AGX would run me about $340 shipped, I can get the GR-2 for $160 locally. Its gonna cost about $80 to have them installed at Sacramento Motoring Accessories, so all in all, If I was to go AGX it would be appox. $420, GR-2 would be $240. I'm broke and on a tight budget so I think the GR-2 is a better option for me and if my financial situation allows, I can upgrade later, if I need to.

 on the first part, but on the computer analogy, you lost me. But it's not important, just wondering why it mattered if Neuspeed made their own springs or not. You really didn't give a valid reason as to why, but you are entitled to your preference. I guess I was wondering if there was a drawback to that, maybe you knew something I didn't:dunno:

Good looking out. If I wasn't so broke, I'd probably get the AGX.
