Default Attention anyone with H&R/KYB or EibachProkit/KYB setups

Hi, i'm about to lower my car and cannot decide between

H&R Sport with KYB AGX or Eibach-Pro-Kit w/ KYB AGX

I have a 96 Accord and i'm looking for a smooth ride yet lowering my car about 1.5" I've done searches and have been reading that people with these setups are actually getting more like 2" drops because of the KYB struts being a bit shorter than stock struts. Is this true?? Any of you experience this?? If so, would it be better for me to go with the Eibach Pros b/c they don't drop as much as the H&Rs? Thanks!

I have a set of KYB GAS shocks and H&R sport springs. the drop is perfect. I mean my car came from 2.3 progress lowering springs to air suspension to now a really nice set-up. Its not really bouncy and takes corners awesome. You will need a camber kit. So be prepared for that. Not tha bad. I still need one. But I recomend this set-up if you are going to get a new set-up. Also, you dont have to go 5 miles per-hour over speed bumps! I take the big 4-feet ones at like 25-30 and the small ones are not a hassle at all... Good luck

Thanks for the info. So i'm gonna need a camber kit huh? Damn, the last thing is want is butterfly tires that wear out over several months. I do not want that at all!! What camber kits do you suggest?

Both are nice but Eibach Prokit and KYB AGX are designed for each other. Check out www.coximport.com they have Prokit and AGX kits that are made to compliment each other. Same thing like Neuspeed Sport and Koni Yellow.

You won't need a camber kit if you went with the Eibach Prokit and KYB AGX. As long as your camber is within -1 degree you'll see minimal wear. Just rotate as scheduled.

If your free Sunday there is a 5th Gen Accord meet at the Speed Zone at the City of Industry. If you go you can ask all the questions you want.

I have Neuspeed sports (pretty much same thing as H&R) and KYB AGX and they've both worked out great for me. Lowered 1.5" and 1.75. Did not need a camber kit. The cambers not perfect but I have had no uneven tire wear. Pro-kits don't lower enough in my opinion, its not even noticeable
