Default KYB agx Shocks

I know it has been covered before but..
I was originally going to go with the Koni Yellow coil over package, but reciently I've come across a GREAT deal on the AGX shocks from a local retailer. I was wondering if the there would be any noticable diff. b/t the agx and a good set of coilovers and the koni yellow package. By the way the koni package is the one that comptech has for $1300, although I'm sure i can get them for less.

Also if the less expensive AGX (i think they said somthing like $70 each, approx) is the way to go what kind of coilovers? I've heard GC and Skunk2's are good but I'm not sure what would be a better compliment of the AGX.

Thanx

i have KYB AGXs with Ground Controls. i am decently happen with them. the only reason i went that way is because i couldnt afford the Koni Yellows.

if you can afford them, get them. i hear people LOVE them.

also $70 each for the AGXs are a great deal. i paid $300+ for mine.

compared to my buddy's civic with koni yellow's and H&R springs, my AGX's arent sh!t.

i got a super deal on them though, so i have the best shocks that my wallet could afford. i'm just not as enthusiastic about them as I was when i first got them....

i still love em nonetheless, just dont go driving around in a koni yellow equipped civic or integra...

If you have the money def go for the koni yellows....the comptech package is WAY overpriced. $300 for GC's + $500 for Koni yellows and you'll have an affordable adjustable suspension setup.

Unless you specify otherwise (and pay some extra$$$), the springrates for the Ground Control koni edition are slightly higher than the "special edition" ones.

Thanx Shingo the have them for 509.99, I think i'll go that route cause the extra 200 bucks won't really hurt me in the wallet too much.

www.modacar.com has them for $499. I have never purchased from them before so don't know their service level.

MugenCivic480 was trying to organize a group buy for Koni yellows for significantly less but unfortunately I haven't heard anything about that for a while. I would recommend that you PM him to check on availability.

I know this is a little OT but do the threads on (GC) coilovers get gunked up in winter time due to salt?

THanx for all the feedback, but I haven't found any info on the Koni Yellow full coilovre system, does anyone have this? and what do you think of it? is it worth the extra money over shocks and say a ground control sleeves and springs?
