i'm a serious n00b when it comes to engine internals. why are these better (other than making more hp)?

btw. what kinda piston rings are you running?
I am running the JE rings I forget the exact name of the ring series but they are intended for high compression setups.

Well thats pretty much the entire reasoning

Aside from that the machining on these is a better grade than stock pstons as well as the ring upgrade to seal better and they tolerate a higher heat detonation than a stock one will put up with over extended periods of time.

Numbers are coming. I will have a final compression number very soon and HP/TQ will be run as soon as she gets broke in so I can run her on the dyno.
