just out a fuel cut off switch and just hide it somewhere

wouldn't that hurt the engine though?

I am saying I would not do it because of the hassle, but if you feel like it is worth to you then do it because what happened in 44 minutes was a true story and the guy was in such a hurry that he did not think about a cutoff switch so he could not steal the car.
