Default 2003 Accord Coupe problem

Don't know what springs to order so i figured i ask you guys. I had Neuspeed Sports (stock shocks) on my 98 v6 accord and i liked it. I just saw on their webpage they they just came out for the 2003. Has anyone got them yet? I was also looking into H & R springs but dont know if they are better. What i do know is they are cheaper. All i want is to get rid of the wheel gap and give it that lowered look. I don't want to go to low, but i also dont want to not lower it enough. Some people came up to me and said about my old accord "Your car is lowered?" I really didnt like that at all. I know Eibach Pro kit are great springs but is the drop big enough? Does anyone have pictures on their 2003 with any of these springs, or just has them on the new accord and can leave a suggestion . I plan on keeping this car for a few years and this is one mod i dont want to screw up. I will be riding on stock shocks for at least a couple of months till i go out and get aftermarket shocks. Any comment would be helpful, thanks.

h&r says they have springs...but iono..its not released yet...not til another month or so....the eibach prokits...are very suttle...cant even tell it was lowered. the prokits i heard are very nice tho...rides like stock...but dont give u that flooring loook and nose diving when flooring and stopping...their is a person wit sprint springs, fast-draw, and the drop is 1.5 inchs...and its still a lil suttle...but i lil bit more noticable...pm him for some pics....the route that i took was ground control sleeves...pretty good...kinda stiff but its something aftermarket shocks couldnt fix. aftermarket shocks arent out for our cars...but i hope they will soon....im on stock shocks...and i think they could last me til new ones are out..maybe another year.

Here's my 03 EX Coupe 4 cyl. with a 1.5" drop from Sprint Springs. I used the full JUST release Camber kits, for front and rear from SPC. Allignment is PERFECT with the drop and the Camber kit.

Rear drop is less than 1 finger gap. Front is a one finger gap. Only pic that came out was of rear, looks like there' more room than there is. No rubbing issues with 7.5" wide 17" wheel, and 215 tire width.

I'm getting 19" OZ Superleggerras w/i 2 weeks with Falken tires for a few of my first autocross runs. I have no idea what to expect - never driven any car for time or anyhting before, let alone autocross. I htink I'm up there when it comes to classes b/c of the drop, larger wheels and tires, and other suspension mods (the strut bar from neuspeed.)

Eibach JUST releaed springs for the 4 cyl. coupes - but you won't find them in stock anywhere - V6 springs have been out for a bit - a month or two - from H&R and Eibach - they aren't too hard to find.

THe SPC Camber kit is Expensive, but MUCH needed. I have a 'connection' that I can share with people to get everything for $265 shipped for andy 03 Accord.

If you're going to pay labor to have the Springs installed, you may as well get the camber kit and not destroy your tires with uneven wear.

And yes, the Ferrari Symbols and Mugen stuff is off - the other stickers are staying though - all ones from actual Mods I have. I'm contemplating on the rock chip shield. Tip looks good, and a few other Honda peeps in the area thoguht I got an exhaust for it already, they couldn't even tell it was just a tip. APEXi DOES have exhausts for ALL 03 Accords, BTW. And Injen JUST released a CAI for the 4 cyl. 03 Accords. DC Sports will have their CAI, headers and exhaust out mid June, and VIS has a Carbon Fiber hood out late-June for the 03 Accords.

Can you tell I'm planning, a LOT? My mod plans:

AmsOil ByPass filter - Installed next week
INJEN 4 cyl. CAI - Mid-June
DC Sports Headers - Late-June
APEXi or DC Sports Exhaust - Late-June
VIS Carbon fiber hood - NO HOOD PINS! - Early-July

BTW - this is the pacge to get the low-down on new 03 Accord parts:
NOPI Link

That'll list EVERYTHING out there - minus a few things from SPC, and a few mis-listings of things for only the 6th Gens.

And now - the pix of my car lowered:

BTW - the ride with the Sprint Springs is actually BETTER over light bumps - almost unnoticable - and the larger bumps are felt more - as to be expected. With the Mud Gaurds I have on it, I only have about 1.5-2" clearance form the ground in the front though - so I have to be careful

damn for such a small drop you have little to no finger gap. for me (and many others) to have such a small finger gap we're dropped in the 2.5-3" range on our accords. i guess the 7th gens have less fender gap than the previous gens.

Default Fast Draw

The drop looks really nice.

I'm glad you took off those stickers, but that i-vtec sticker should come off too. If you have to keep that sticker, don't place it in the center of the rear window. Put it where those Civic Si's put their DOHC VTEC stickers.
