V2 can only be good for another hp or so, in fact, in a magazine I have here, the V2 was outperformed by the V1. The only difference however is that the V2 provided a little more "overall power gain", in the lower rev ranges.

Really is just a marketing thing and I wouldn't waste the extra $100 or so that it costs, I'd spend that $100 on something that actually adds power....like a camshaft regrind that can be purchased for less than $200....or something!

Could you please state where you read this? I'd like to read it myself and see what the differences are in power output. Thanks.

well i've seen articles where the V2 outperformed the V1 by 5hp in a civic...the v1 added about 5hp, the v2 put up a little over 10...so imma go with the V2...i noticed you've been hating on the V2 in more than one thread...u're actin like the V2 grew legs and kicked your dogg or something...leave the V2 alone..holla

yeah, ive seen that same article. V2 outperformed the V1 by about 5 hp, but at some powerbands, it produced about 10 hp more than the V1. You can argue all you want 92lx, but its been dyno proven that the V2 actually does some good better than the V1, and unless you have pictures of the article or a hard evidence, almost all of us believe that the dual soundwave function of the V2 outperforms the V1. AEM won't do such a stupid thing, to produce something new that is actually worse than the old.
