yes, intakes usually pull more than 1 whp.

ooopps off by 1.7 considering the accord can only hit 6500 redline. Also note those plots are off a 1999 civic, not a accord.

So those plots don't tell anything.b

Ok lets get back on topic...

Anyway is there ANY whp gain from a short ram intake?

I mean I want a CAI but dont wana have extra work doing filters and also have to worry about water and shi*...

So what can I expect to get from a Short intake over my stock crap right now?

Yea but I asking for Short ram.... I know what CAI does already...

I wish I could have a SRI and not pay for it yet, just to see if I like it or not that way if its to much louder and I dont notice any diffreance I dont have to keep it...

But does ANYONE know if a AEM SRI has any whp gains or tq gains or is it just a wast and for louder sound? I dont really want more sound. :P

You talking about the smallest gain, the intake is more or less just sound adder. The Short Ram and CAI make such a SMALL difference, like 1-3 whp MAX. I would just get a Short Ram, and make a shield, with some sheet metal to put around the filter and it won't suck in that hot air for that massive horsepower you get.

I was wondering, if I get the Injen Intake system (Short ram) for my 6th gen I4, would I really have any kinds of loss in low end/ high end? I know intake barely do anything for gains, I just don't want to lose any power from this mod.

I have also watched a video of a bone stock 6th gen 5spd I4 with CAI, and I must admit, it sounds like a fart can above 4k.

which one is better for low end? CAI or SR?
