But i feel toyota owners are more understanding that each car has its own personality, and none are the same... and recognize the true virtues of both toyotas and hondas. Unlike many people with biased opinions around here.
I'll take the Accord, I think the 2004 Solara looks ugly. As a matter of Fact the 2003 ES 300, Camry looks ugly too. So does the RX 330.
Lexus Es 300 has a white circle in the tail lights, this is white I call a tumor.
The Camry has that bulging headlight, this is what I call Gold Fish eyes.

Toyota is dropping the ball big time. They don't offer a manual on any trim level of the new Solara. That eliminates part of the market before they even show up at a Toyota dealership. The Accord's standard stick shift on all 4 cylinders already appeals to a more broad audience. Then to make a six speed available on the V6 just wipes the Solara out of competition. The Solara is a good car for those who just want to drive and look good. Unfortunately, it can never be a real driver's car. Come to think of it, outside of Cellica and MR2, does Toyota make a reasonable performance coupe anymore?

thats the best way i can put it.
i don't think the new solara is "sleek" in any way. its all curvy here and there. the body doesn't even flow together. it looks like they just slapped different body panels of other cars and said 'that's it, this is how the new solara will look.'
