How long is this post going to get? Stop hitting the quote button people.

As for the Coupe: You have a V-6, OMG! Like go and hop that up. All N/A man, people have been known to install Type-S heads, Cams, TB, dual stage intake manifold, exhaust manifold, etc... and keep your stock bottom end this leads to a really weird but neat J-series hybrid. If you have a need for speed fully bolted on J30's have been know to run 13's on Nitrious with stock internals.

Please keep what mods you have and don't add the window tint.
As for bling-blings that would look good--ever that of going with CL or TL type-S wheels that have been aftermarket chromed you could even install the chrome Honda centercaps from their optional wheels.

And talking smack to a Schmiddy, what's up with that, Schmiddy is super laid back--you must have pissed him off dude. He knows Voodoo, I'd watch you back & front &........

I think you should get a bimmer because:

1. You want a car with grunt.
2. you want a car with refinement.
3. You want a car that others will envy you for owning/help out your image.
4. You view your car as a fashion statement (or you would never have brought up that styling/2 yr fact)

A bimmer fits that criteria nicely.

I want to clarify something:

There is nothing ghetto about an older Legend or ES250. They are old cars, that actually still surpass your car (and my own) in terms of refinement and possibly even styling. They are obviously more popular with the ghetto fabulous because they can't afford more, but there are still many older affluent people who drive them because they are good cars. They really only beome ghetto when you put fade mirror tint, gold trim, crazy body kits and chrome wheels on them, but if that's what floats that person's boat, so be it.

That's my opinion on the mods that you want to do. I'd never do any of them. The adage less is more comes to mind.

Hondas are not the be all end all by any means. Anybody that believes that is either joking or simply a dumbass. I am a car nut and can appreciate any car even the tepid 3 cyl Geo Metro's. I would not own just any car, but I can appreciate different things about them. After about 10 years/95,XXX miles , my baby, a 94 EX Coupe, still looks good and performs well for my needs.

You did compare your car to a 3800 V6 (check the hood of your buds beloved GP ). That motor rocks, is tough as hell, and pounds down the dead dinosaur juice like we live in Kuwait. But its also noisy, vibrates and doesn't have much life past 4000 rpms....

But like I said before, don't put money into a car that you will not ultimately be happy with. Save it for a newer and better car. Don't blow your load.

BTW I include the pic of my car just to demonstrate where I am coming from stylistically..

let's see where i should start....... well, i think that you should get some chrome rims obviously kuz you like it(i like them too but i'm not going for that luxary look). what you gotta understand is that everybody(not me) on this board likes the same look, they all hate altezzas, big wings, stickers, chrome rims, projector headlights, and outragous body kits. seems like if you go that route, they'll all jump on you. but if you go to a car show, that's all you see :boink: video games, china town, at the mall, race shops, even on the streets. i don't consider none of that to be rice. rice to me is if it looks "homemade" and doesn't look professionally, or if it's overdone, or just doesn't look right, also if it just looks straight up ugly. now ghetto, is a different story. if it's missing a window and the muffler is dragging, that's ghetto. if your tint, has air bubbles and is peeling, that's ghetto. if it's all rusty and has different shades of paint, that's ghetto. but if it's a nice ride, but has a faded tint, and is a older model doesn't necessarily mean it's ghetto, or if they from the hood. i seen alot of cars from new york on the highway with the faded tint thing going on. i don't like it. i would rather do the whole window silver/mirror kuz my car is silver. i don't know what color car you got, but black seems to work with every color. about the emblem thing, i think you should shave it, that's what i would do.

Hey Chad,

Good to hear from you again, thanks for the suggestions...which window tints are you asking me to avoid----the mirror ones? Or the limo? And you suggest getting the CL or TL Type S 17" rims and have them aftermarket chrome dipped? Is that what you suggest? How much would something like that cost, do you know?

I wasnt talking smack to Schmiddy; at least that wasnt my intention...if he wants to get pissed off because of a thread I started, I guess I'll have to hire a priest to perform an exorcism, huh? "The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you!"

First of all, when I talk about chrome wheels and the like for bling bling, its not for ENVIOUS factors; I dont want people to ENVY me, so please do me a favor and dont say that because its not what I mean. I would like a bimmer for the same reasons everyone else would want one; I mean, its probably and incredibly engineered automobile and would feel tight as J Lo's ass after a couple of years behind the wheel----but the other factors you mention here can be found in other vehicles in other classes....grunt? Can get that in the sexy Grand Prix or the new Bonneville coming out, or even in the 300M. And fashion statement? Who WOULDNT buy a 2 DOOR COUPE as a fashion statement? Thats why I bought my coupes in the first place---sacrificing the rear doors BETTER earn me more sexy looks, or whats the point? But it doesnt HAVE to be a bimmer next time around for it to qualify as a fashion statement....

A bimmer fits that criteria nicely.

Well, what I was saying was those cars ARE ghetto machines in the surrounding areas of my home in places like Flatbush, Maspeth, Glendale, Crown Heights....my point was that I was OBSERVING that these kids are running around ENDANGERING OTHER MOTORISTS' LIVES with the way they drive in these GHETTOED OUT import vehicles that look and run like shit anway---I have been seriously injured in accidents in other cars I have owned by these wild kids in their ghetto cruisers because they run reds, speed, cut people off, and simply ram into other cars in parking lots because they actually BELIEVE they have struck gold by purchasing a 3,000 91 Legend....they BELIEVE they are driving Ferraris, in THEIR minds....I know the breed....they BELIEVE they own the road now that they got a used Lexus with gold badging on it....BELIEVE ME this is the way it works in the ghetto boroughs of NYC.

That's my opinion on the mods that you want to do. I'd never do any of them. The adage less is more comes to mind.

I noticed the picture of your car; that looks EXCELLENT for a 94...I had a 94 EX Coupe---just like yours---in the Frost White---before this 99....

I didnt compare his to mine per se, I simply said his vehicle would bang the ballsacks off these imports and that he has NEVER been in the shop for ANY of his GM products---and it was a Grand Am, not a Grand Prix, GT, and I dont think he had the 3800 Series II V6---that engine is under the hood of the Grand Prix.

But like I said before, don't put money into a car that you will not ultimately be happy with. Save it for a newer and better car. Don't blow your load.

Come on now bro...when did I ever get "pissed off"?

Here's my posts on this thread...see if you find the "pissed off" you are talking about:

Post #1:

"Still mulling over the coupe eh?

I'd say dont' get 18's unless you lower the car, and don't get chrome. If you want some Bling like you say, just get some with a polished lip.

Keep the OEM stuff. Only add the side moldings if you are getting lots of unavoidable door dings.

Don't add any of the other stuff you listed except HID.

Leave all the rest alone.

Please don't get the silver fade tint.

There's my input. "
Post #2:

"I DID tell you exactly what I would do...look WAY up to the top few posts.

Then you started saying that you liked domestic cars so much better, so I gave another suggestion...buy a domestic. Seems like that would be more of what you are looking at.

I never said imports are "perfect". You totally put words in my mouth. I just said that buying a domestic wouldn't be what I'd do. I even gave you a suggestion as to what to buy.

I'm just struggling to understand your logic."
Post #3:

"I really don't see what the problem is here. You are going nuts bro. Just sell that Accord, and go buy a Z28 and put some chrome wheels on it.

Seems like that's what you want. That obviously is not my choice...but sounds more like what you want.

And no...I'm not trying to be sarcasistic, just trying to be honest, helpful and to the point.

Noel spent a lot of time trying to help you understand where everyone is coming from, and you still just want to argue."
Post #4:

"You need to relax man. Take a deep breath. I wasn't trying to aruge with you. You need to realize that.

Buy what YOU like.

And I can't let you be that lazy bro...you're going to have to scroll up yourself.

I just think it's as simple as this: Why ask us for opinions? You've pretty much argued with everyone's suggestions. So just think about it on your own, talk it over with friends, etc, and decide what you want to do to your car, or if you replace it, what kind of car you should buy.

We are here because we own Honda's. And many of us are really satisfied with them. So most of us will have the same opinions about Accords, about Domestics, etc. Don't expect everyone here to agree with you when you say that Accords have no style and are underpowered. And yes...those are your complaints. If we wanted something else, we would have bought something else.

I own both a domestic (Chevy 4x4 full size) and an import (my Accord). I'm not the Nazi import guy you think I am.

Use this board as a resource, ask questions, opinions, but don't try to argue. It's pointless on any web board.

I'm all for discussion and debate when it's civilized. Just don't take this board quite so serious as you are.

Jschmid"
If you keep lashing out at people you aren't going to get much help on this board. People won't want to deal with it.

I hope it all works out for you and you end up happy with mods/or a new car.

I like Mr. Chad's idea of the J-Series engine build, but the problem is you have a 4-speed automatic that can barely handle the stock 200HP as is.
