Very cool....I went to Hofstra for two years and then transferred to Adelphi, where I graduated in 96....I actually looked at a Nissan 240SX when I was shopping for one back in 91 before I went to Hofstra at Oyster Bay Nissan----thats on Jericho, right?

Im getting so sick of these pimped out, ghetto-ed out imports everywhere man....what IS it with these retards? Dont they know that these old pieces of shit that theyre driving shouldnt be hooked up with body kits and exhaust systems---they should be put out to pasture and shot? WHY do they think they have struck gold with used, beat up Legends, Maximas and ES250s/300s?

No offense dude, but I consider most of what you propose to do to your car is not that far off from what those people have done and your car is getting old too....and you really are on a tirade of late.

Why not just accept that folks don't have the taste you have and at the same time a lot of folks don't need yours or that of an entire internet bulletin board's validation to keep their self esteem up.....?

Like I had implied in a previous post, you need to buy yourself a Bimmer 323/5 and drive around like the rest of long island thumbin its noses at other folks for you to feel alright...

Yeah, but not ones like THAT, where you are assimilating my previous efforts to make sense of the OEM buying process and then condeming them because I have not as of yet found answers....please, that is not providing opinions, wouldnt you agree? I was just asking what everyone thought -- personal feelings -- about these specific pieces of dealer installed OEM equipment and if they were actually necessary/important; the original responsee to my post was the most intelligent, coherent individual in the forum so far because he actually ANALYZED each and every proposed piece (or exisiting piece) of OEM equipment and told me why he either liked it or why he thought it belonged in the crotch of 98 percent of the NY oriented "hood rats" infesting the greater tri state area....

 

Right, and thats WHY I posted the message, to obtain DIFFERENT opinions from everyone----why are you getting all up like this? I never WENT AGAINST anyone's suggestions or opinions in here....I simply asked what everyone thought about these pieces of OEM equipment, and if the mods I considered actually made sense---IN PEOPLE'S OPINIONS---or not....Im not hatin' anyone's opinions or rides up in here....Im welcoming them, and then I will decide, based on those opinions, if it's worth doing/changing OEM style mods, thats all....

As for your second, most cheekily-spirited suggestion my good lad, I WISH I had the funds necessary to get rid of the red bastid and get something I REALLY want; believe me, I WISH I did....but, I guess like everyone else, you know the story....job sucks, times are tough, got so many other bills to worry about----thank God this car is paid off; she just turned 40,000 miles and Im wondering how much longer she is gonna last being that I cant get a new ride right now or anytime soon....know what Im sayin?

 

I am not "getting all up like this". You have asked the same questions a few times before and I just think you aren't happy with the car you have right now.

The thing I am afraid is, so you hear about our opinions and go out and do all the stuff that we suggested. What's going to happen if you still aren't happy with your car? Will you hate us because we gave you the opinions?
