Default removing pinstripes

If i remove my pinstripes on my 94 accord, will the paint underneath contrast a lot with the faded paint of the rest of the car?

I think it just depends- has your car been garaged a lot these past nine years, or if not, have yout aken really good care of the paint? Aside from that, I think the color of the paint makes a difference. I have the sort of teal-colored 1993 Accord, and I've recently taken off all the emblems and you can't really tell where they were, with one exception. Kind of "around" where the "Accord" and the "LX" badges were is a sort of dark grey line form where dirt and stuff built up there and couldn't be reached with a regular wash. On the other hand, almost all of that came off when I used a clay bar on the area and waxed it really well. It's not noticeable unless you're looking for it. Go ahead, or just peel off a little at the very front or at the very back where it's not obvious and see what it looks like. I think that chances are that it won't be too noticeable, especially if you clay it and wax it up real nice afterward.

most pinstripes are added at dealerships, not at the factory. The dealer you bought it from prolly put them on. Just peal one back a few inches and see. Its very easy to put them back on.

It might, only one way to tell, peel it off and see. AutoMagic works wonders on the adhesive residue that's left over after you peel the stripes off, very easy.

The car has been immaculately kept and garaged for all of the past 9 years. I guess im gonna try to peel off a couple of inches and see. I'll definitely be waxing it up real nice when I take them off and I'll look into this automagic stuff. Hopefully its easy to put it back on if it looks bad when i take it off. Any suggestions as to how to go about doing this? I say a DIY on this but i can't remember where it is.

If that's the case, shouldn't be too much fading of the paint so you probably won't be able to tell. The auto magic is great, I used it when taking off the pinstripe on my g/f 6th gen, made the job so easy. To take it off, very easy. Just let it sit in the sun for about 20-30 minutes, then start peeling it off. After it's off, get a rag and saturate it with some Auto Magic, then rub in a tight circular motion over the adhesive left behind, be generous with it. After the adhesive is off, get a fresh rag and go over it again to dry it up. After that's all done, you can clay the car, if necessary, if not, just polish and wax it. Need a recommendation on a wax? Zymol is sweet. Can't go wrong with Meguiars Mirror Glaze. My personal favorite is Zymol though.
