Accord V6MT vs. Mitsu Eclipse GT????
Based on that assumption and that the drivers both knew what they were doing then the Accord would win.

I am SO freaking glad that Honda finally came out with a car that can take a Mitsu Eclipse. I had absolutely no respect for those new models (starting in 2000) because of how they made that horrible dramatic change in the way it looks. And those commercials suck!! I hate them everytime I see them (and Old Navy too). But even though they are cheap, while the parts are all together and not falling off the car they are pretty fast, and amazingly they have a lot of aftermarket support. But this new V6 Accord, please, unless you're in a WRX or put $10k + into your Civic nothing under $30k should be able to take it.

i'm assuming u are talking about a V6 eclipse? if not then whats the point of even racing the I4 vs. v6.. howeva if u are talking V6 vs. V6 then the eclipse would still lose they arent that great besides an auto vs the manual no comp. w/o major mods (tranny cooler, torque converter, new gearing, etc.)

As for Old Navy... I don't know how they sell anything. They have had the worst advertising for years, ever since that old bitch and that dog were on the commercials. DIE OLD NAVY!!! :madfawk:

The RSX Type-S will smoke an Eclipse, and has been out since spring 2001. The RSX directly competes with the Eclipse, the Accord is more of a luxury car.
The CL Type-S 6 speed and the Neon SRT-4 for under 30k will beat the Accord 6 speed

My friend just bought one and it's good to know I can smoke him!
