with a mild drop, you dont really need to change your shocks. 5th gen sportlines are alot stiffer than 6g sportlines. i had sportlines on my accord with stock shocks, and they blew in 10kmi (35kmi on the car). my friend has had sportlines in his 6g for 10kmi (15kmi on the car) and the ride is just starting to loosen a bit.

^but if you plan on keeping the car awhile, why pay to do the work twice? it costs like $200-250 to install struts or springs. do them at the same time and use that saved money toward the new struts. plus you would need an alignment done twice since performance struts tend to lower the car a tad more.

that's LA which is import central and you can get work done cheap due to the competition. i here places due swaps for like $600-700, which is not the avg price anywhere else in the country.

most shops should be charging by the book which is 1hr a side. So 4hrs @$50-60 per hr.(avg. labor rate) =$200-240

would anyone be against pairing the tokico blues with neuspeed race springs for the rear? i already have the tokicos with skunk2 coilovers now and i was planing on replacing only the rears with neuspeed race springs. bad idea or no?

Well, here's your post, show me where you recommend something stiffer if you can afford it
I wasn't trying to be a prick or anything, just stating that it would be a waste of money to spend $275 on some Blues when AGX could be had for $65 more:fawk:

i have pro-kits and blues and they are ok, a stiffer strut would be a tad better though.i wish teins were available 3 years ago.

I have a rather dumb question about this: how would oem shocks with aftermarket springs (after many miles) rcompare to oem shocks/springs with a few miles on them?
