Default radiator crack

Hi,
There is a small crack on the top of my 96 accord's radiator. It cause small leaks of the coolant. Is there any way that I can seal up the small crack without replacing the whole radiator tank?

Thank you!

Replace the radiator it is easy to do yourself and not too expensive at all.

Don't bother patching it...Honda radiators are notorious for splitting. I replaced 2 on my civic and am going to change the one on my Accord for a better performing one for less than a stock one would cost me.

Yeh, mine cracked too. I made the mistake of paying someone to do it. Just order a new one for like $100 and install it yourself.

Pretty straight forward. Drain coolant, disconnect fan wires, detach hoses, unbolt it and pull it out. You have easy access to taking off the fans once the radiator is out but you can take them out while the radiator is still in, your choice. Should be reverse order when installing it back in. Takes about half an hour.

If your ghetto like me youll seal the crack with JB weld and wait 6 months to replace the radiator. JB weld is your friend.

you can also use an epoxy, as the stock radiator has plastic top and bottom "tanks".

just get some liquid steel at walmart, or a radiator patch. Those work just a good for small cracks. I had mine on for about a year. Its tough as rock.
