Thank you. Some of these people have no confidence in aftermarket paint jobs and or they're living in the 1970's. :fawk:

It has nothing to do with having confidence.. Its a true fact. No paint job is as good as OEM. period. Yes im sure some can be good.... but not AS good.

Why do you even speak? All you do is try to reinforce every dumb comment you ever make and never let it go. Get a cause, bro. :slap:

That statement can be proven false instantly. There's plenty of cases where OEM quality paint blows, even on Accord's. And some companies have such poor paint that a repaint is an improvement. Sure, these are exceptions, but don't be so assertive.

keep it to yourself. Its the fact there is evidence of a paint job.... which is going to be noticeable in a few areas.

That's exactly his point bro...NOT ALL. You are the one that said ALL repaints are worse then OEM.

If you get a crappy job done, then yes, OEM>repaint.

But a quality job can be =,

and if you have a ton of money to hire a pro and the best quality paint, then repaint can be > OEM.

I don't see how people get on these boards and claim such absolutes such as "always", "never", etc.

Yes, that's true. However, most show cars have really high-end paint jobs, in excess of $10,000. The only reason I mentioned anything is because the quality of aftermarket paint can be really poor. Also, since black is highly reflective, they have to be really careful about sanding, tacking and imperfections. Otherwise it looks like the f_ck up fairy painted it.

I didn't mean to be critical. I'm sure your body shop does great work and the car might come out great. Personally though, I've never seen an aftermarket paint job that looked better than an OEM job (OK, maybe a Korean OEM). Anyway, I didn't mean to rattle any cages, I hope my comments are taken as just that -- comments.

This body shop is contracted by our local Honda dealership to do all of the body and paint work. I saw a black S2000 roll out of there that had been fully repainted (it had been vandalized a month earlier), and it looked amazing.
