Default Energy Suspension Motor Mounts

Can anyone tell me anything about these? They claim they are stronger than stock mounts, easier, to install, and reduce wheel hop, etc. . .

Has anyone done this? or is this a hole for me to throw 25 dollars in. . .

they arent mounts, they are inserts for your stock mounts. Do a search, I'm sure this topic has been covered before.

its supposed to be reinforcement i guess, not as much flex or vibration from the engine which somehow is supposed to translate to less wheel hop

Energy Suspension's mounts are inserts. They way they help reduce wheel hop is because you motor isn't moving around as much and more force is kep on your suspension. It' not a night and day difference on the wheel hop, but you'll notice less weight transfer going around turns. If you wanna get real mounts look @ the prothane stuff. Better made, and you actually remove all your rubber in one of the mounts (civic's atleast).

There is more vibration obviously.

thanks for asking this question. I was talking about removing my intake manifold to clean my EGR ports and somebody said I could easily do a "polyurethane motor mount insert" for the rear motor mount while i was at it.
