Default installation prices, this a bargain?

i was wondering if 75.00 dollars is alot just to install a cold air intake, cause that's what this shop is gonna charge me................also is 750.00 a good price to install a body kit with paint??? they guarantee satisfaction or it's free, that's what they said.

750 with paint for a bodykit isn't bad.

75 for installation of a cold air intake is. Installing an intake really a no brainer. I was a little scared when I first did it back in the day when I had my Accord. I would try and save the $75 and try and install the intake myself. Take your time, and you'll learn stuff.

Ladies love guys who install their own cold air intakes. :joshers:

75 dollar for installing a CAI is ridiculously hilarious. THat is like the easiest diy project u can do in about an hour. intakes come with instructions, so just tackle it on your own. If you need help, ask the forum members here. Thats what we're here for. Also, i dunno but for me, its really fun doin stuff to my car by myself and a good thing is that you're ensured that your car has been done right. Who knows what those "installers" do to your car while installing it? so go for it.

As far as the bk goes, its a good deal if the body kit is included in the price. If you have to buy the bodykit seperately and they'll charge 750 to juss paint and install, its a rip off once again.

do yourself a favor and buy some nice tool sets w/ that 75, and/or a jack and some jackstands. installing it isnt that hard, and you will get to keep the tools for other uses.

Dude if you pay someone $75 to install your CAI im going to :slap: you. haha j/p

All you have to do is unbolt your stock airbox (you can't miss it) and put the CAI in there and tighten that **** down. I may have made it sound really easy, but seriously it is that easy lol. GOod luck.

yeah definitely don't waste 75 bucks to have it installed. Try it yourself, you'll find it's very simple. Plus the 75 bucks u saved can go into something new

thanks for the replies guys, LOL. when i received the CAI, it came with the instructions and there was this little screw with like rubber things, like stoppers or sumthin, and on the instructions it said to take off the wheel well or sumthin, and i don't want to try sumthin i never done before, know what i'm saying? it's just the fact that i bought this ride brand new and i don't want to mess it up.................but if it's that easy like you said, i might think about it and ask my uncle to help me cause he's a mechanic. are mechanics familiar with the CAI?

and for the kit, i got a GD2K BW1, so it's just for installation and paint.
