Default Built turbo'ed H22A

I have a question for you guys this is directed to anyone who knows a good bit about cars by the way I have a 1997 Honda Accord Auto I'm doing a H22a Manual conversion I'm planning on building the engine and turbo charging it with a T60-1 @ 20psi it my question is What should I get done to my engine for this application?
Im thinking of just porting and polishing it
Boring it out But I don't know what to?
and sleeves and of course low compresion internals
anyone have any suggestions or experiance with this
anything would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Vic

damn........wont compression end up being crazy high?? with turbo on high compressed engines, there is almost a guarantee for detonation. But good stuff man......hope it works out and you'll have one of the fastest, if not the fastest accord on the forum. I think u even may have a chance to beat 2point6, who went all out n/a set up and ran 13 second range.

I see more h22 turbos than h23's just cause the h23 has lower compression doesn't mean its better common misconception

compression is pretty high but with the right equipment and right tuner you can run boost on any compression. its just easier with lower compression. i have a friend that runs an Eclipse and he actually raised the compression. built the block bullet proof. and is running 30lbs along with a 150shot. its all in the tuning. the thing made 450hp on 20lbs. if you go lower compression it will take away power. say you run 8lbs on 10:1cr. it will take 10-11 lbs to equal the power on 8.5:1cr. if you have enough fuel anything is possible. tuning is the key

but other than that. i'm sick of answering these questions. show me the money or something that you have then i respond with everything in detail. or you can just hit that neat little search button up there. its free

EIDT : i didnt mean "show me the money" as in paying me. i meant it as in people just automatically decide "yeah i'm gonna fully build an H22 and turbo it" and think they can do it for $2000. unless you wanna spend $10,000 dont worry about it and just build your way up

how fast do you wanna be?

H22 - $4000
built - $2500
turbo kit - $3500

plus another $2000-3000 in other stuff to be able to run 30lbs of boost

to run 30lbs reliably youre lookin at $12,000+

First off, you would have to rip out all internals and replace them.

Get the block blueprinted and put low compression forged pistons, with titanium rods (or something like that), knife-edge the crank, port and polish the whole damn thing, put a low compression head gasket in, Turbo Cams, new valves, etc..your looking at al ot of money to run this reliably.

Looking at like 4,000 to do it right inside the motor, and then 3100-3900 for a good custom kit, u can't run 20 lbs on a drag kit or greddy or whatever u planned on using, if your running 20psi u need high quality parts, like a ball bearing turbo.

Anyways, the swap with manual conversion should run you like 4000, then like..4000 for the inside conversion, and then almost another 4000 to do the kit..

hmm 12,000

buy a new car
