Anyone...how have your Silverstars done in fog and or/rain? How badly is light cast back? I haven't had to use mine yet in that type of weather, as I take home a work car, and mine is only driven on the weekends. Thanks.

They guy at Autozone gave me the $10 rebate coupon. Already sent it in.

Dliske, I've driven mine in light snow and there is more cast back, but that's because it's a brighter, whiter light on white flakes. Nothing that would cause any danger but anything brighter then stock will do the same. I didn't even notice after the first couple of minutes. I'm sure rain wouldn't be too bad after that. No fog yet either.

Go for it Importvizion, nothing to loose but 30 bucks after rebate from Autozone.

I wish I could get away with them here, I just had a cop piss me off on lunch. On the way back from the shooting range, I'm sitting at a light and a bike cop comes up next to me and tells me to pull ahead and turn on my hazards. I pulled ahead and turned on the hazards, and he rolls up and says "just making sure your rear turn signals are amber" the takes off. Dumb ass peckerhead could have followed me for a block and watched me turn, but Nooooo, he had to infringe on my rights and consider me guilty before innocent. I always thought they would have to see something illegal before they could pull someone over, not just for ****s and giggles because he didn't know I had silver coated bulbs in my rear turns.

Oh well sorry, just venting. Looks great accordust

I think that cop just wanted you to know they are looking out for things like that. It was probably a message rather then a concern.

I just bought Silverstars today and i think that they blow...hard. they totally look near yellow.

beside the terrible color (in my opinion), i have to admitthey're sharper and a bit brighter than my previous blue bulbs. but DEFINITELY NOT worth $40 (after $10 car show rebate) for a pair when i can get hipers for $15, which shows more difference than silverstars.

sorry guys [advocating silverstars]. i've decided that i'm going to get 7000k HIDs next instead of wasting my time and money with burnt bulbs, connector pieces, and poor looking bulbs.
