well what about running close to redline. I never reach red but sometimes when me and my friends race, I go as far as 6,000pms. just before it reaches red.:dunno:

Its like putting an NSX seat in a Civic while ur saying it can handle like an NSX..it just doesnt happen!! Thats my opinion, sorry, i just dont believe Honda angines that were desgned for family can handle such abuse.

I have the F22 engine as well. I run it to about 6000RPM (it's a perfect point for shifting too, the engine speed drops 2K RPM and allows for a VERY smooth 1-2 shift, or - maybe that's just skill
). I wouldn't advise running past redline without extensive modifcations.
