Here's that I was thinking about:

We have one forum and make these subforums...

Accord, Vigor CL & TL
Civic, CRX & Del Sol
Odyssey, CR-V & Pilot
Prelude, S2000, NSX
Integra & RSX
Legend & RL

And believe me...with a moderator like me, there will be no whoring. I would edit all threads in each subforum to begin with the car that it's on. Such as:

Accord 98-02: Pollen Filter Installation

Accord Coupe 98-00: Side Sill Installation

If you've ever seen my work in the News and Rumors forum, you know I am an organazational nazi. Believe you me, there would be NO whoring.

I'm working in the Mod corner for our DIY forum

Why make a forum when you can ask the question in the integra forum where more people would read it?? DIY pages with pics would be good though.

I don't think you understand the purpose. All the DIYs would be archived in the DIY forum, and if someone has a new question or DIY they can post it in the correct forum and the DIY forum.

If we lock the SECTION down and make it so that members have to send the "how-to" to a designated mod(s) and the mods put the info into the SECTION, then it will really help people to know how to do things and they won't have to sift through useless whoring... that's my opinion.

Sweet. Thanks for all the support guys, hopefully it will come to be this time. 98AccordCpe, your idea about 1 forum w/sub-forums sounds good, and thanks for going to bat for it in the mod forum. I pm'd Chris this morning when the tally was 90% in favor, 10% against, haven't heard from him yet, but now its only 88% in favor 12% against

Default DYI Needed?

Sorry I did not read every post on the topic. I would ask this. If it has been brought up does HAN need to address it? In other words does it mean the way it is set up now doesn't meet the needs of users on this board?
Duplication of effort doesn't enhance the boards. However uniformity does.
If DYI are set up the same way in every instance that would be helpful. I may be talking through my hat. Im still exploring the site. I will say that if Im doing any kind of work. Whether its my car or my toaster, I like good visuals and text that is clear and no steps have been left out.
Thanks
