I'm riding on Koni Yellows and Eibach Pro-kits. Car is riding about 1.7" lowered...handles GREAT! These shocks rule. Kinda pricey though.

But if you want conservative lowering springs...go with Eibach Prokits. You should be able to get a new set for $165.

if you just want to lower, eibach prokit on stock shocks, 150-175 for these springs. lowers 1.5 inch on stock.

if you want performence, 300 wont be enough, even on the lowest budget, you are looking at 550 plus at least just on parts. (namely, kyb agx with neuspeed/eibach springs), while higher end ones will cost in the range of 900 (tein, apexi ws, koni sports shocks with spring/coil of your choice...)

i dont think 350 bucks will be enough to accomplish your goal. the springs themselves will be around 200 bucks and then the cheapest set of decent shocks (tokico illuminas) will run you about 120 a piece. id wait until you have about 600 bucks before i did anything with regard to springs and shocks granted you know how to install them yourself. if not, be prepared to spend about another 200 bucks in labor to the mechanic.

Actually I'm riding on Tein SS coilovers

GC are "condom" coilovers that has eibach springs, I think they are the best in the market. However, with your budget that you are going for (that's what I suggested), you can only afford just the coilovers and no aftermarket shocks. I suggest Koni Yellows with these. But IMO, be patient and save more money either for shocks that goes with these or full coilovers.

There are threads here about ground controls, have you search for them?
