I am car stupid so I wont remove it. But I am thinking Ill get this installer to remove it. I should just ask him to remove the intake resinator and thats all? Nothing else involved?

Youre talking about a flood as in a rain flood correct? LOL, I am so car stupid.

I am assuming that I will have no problem hearing the music or anything like that right? I am taking you guys word for it and dishing out $40 to get the intake resinator removed, and also having my K&N air filter installed. So well see what happens.

Is 2-4 HP gain even noticeable at all?

yes do it yourself. very very easy. you can still hear the music. the change in the sound it makes is minimal.

maybe it is louder on the 4 cyl, I don't have any experience with that, but it is not noticable at all during normal driving conditions, sounds the same as stock. Once it hits vtec (spirited driving) you can hear it, but its not loud at all.

It sounds sweet in my opinion... I removed mine and am not using any aftermarket filter at all right now... saving for my AEM CAI. But first of all, what type of K&N are you talking about? Just the stock sized one that fits in there now? Or the Cone Ghetto-Rig Replacement? With the one that fits in the stock air box thats there now... you *might* get like 2 hp... but mainly just fresher air and it will sound louder... You will notice the biggest sound difference with your windows down going up hills, especially when it shifts gears and your in low rpm's. I would definitely reccomend removing it and PLEASE DONT PAY 40$!!! Jesus that's rediculous... the only hard part is twisting that screw off but its easy to do... even if your car stupid. Here is a link on removing it... http://www.angelfire.com/punk2/94accord/howto.html#res It also explains the matter a little too. Hope this helps.

Oh and by the way, it will never be any louder than a person sitting next to you talking softly... don't worry about music or anything haha.

you'll loose accleration above 110mph (if you have a 5th gen 4cyl ex at least). the air is too turbulant around the wheel well. if you ahve a 5th gen lx/dx, you car is limited to 120 anyway
