The way I look at it, if you have nice rims worth stealing why not steal the whole car cause your car itself is worth money as parts and all the nice you have in it. Wheel locks are only worth while on POS that rims worth more than the car.

locks are ok...they prevent your car from being on bricks in a parking lot..**** if someone wants to steal it they will....theives have all the honda keys, they read your vin then figure out what key it is they take your car...but if they get caught i think you pay a fine of $800 a key...but w/e.

channel lock or robogrip pliers will take lug nuts right off. i dont see what the point of wheel locks are. theyre just gonna keep away the kid thinking "lets go steal his wheels tonight they look nice"

Clubs and wheel locks are not garuntee's. Use propper judgement where you leave your car. Those devices simply slow down the thief, or if they're experienced, rather just added obstacles. Like someone said, if you have expensive wheels, use about 3 different sets of locks.

thats a good reason to get wheel locks. those kids wont have any special tools to remove locks, just regular lugs. btw, honda OEM locks are made by mcguard. they have 16 different keys. theyre not associated with your vin # etc. kyogens are pretty crappy. they dont lock (if you jam a 17mm on, it will take them off). they feel like theyre gonna strip if i apply too much force by hand.

as with all locks, DO NOT use an impact wrench to loosen or tighten. you shouldnt need to use one anyway.

Wheels locks are good against the inexperienced thieves. If you have an experienced thief going after your rims, chances are that they will be gone.

if you have an experienced thief they arent gonna take your rims. theyre gonna take your whole car. no wheel lock actually locks. you can put channel locks on a circular "lock" and take it off fine

whats wrong with an air gun on lug nuts? as long as you dont torque them down to the highest setting its fine. and start threading them by hand

actually, snap on makes a tool with reverse threads that can take off any wheel lock no matter what the pattern. LOL, dont askl how i know this but basically if the dude wants your wheels, no matter how many sets or what sets, their his. If i were you, i would go get a nice alarm with motion and shock sensors, prefereably a clifford, and run like 4 sirens. Thats much more security then some damn wheel locks. By the way, dont ask how i know but clifford seems to be one of the only alarms theifs cant tap into without hours or so.

motion sensors only work inside the car. you can lift a car with the shock sensor if youre careful without setting it off. for rims you need a tilt sensor. so when the car is tilted (ie with a jack) the alarm goes off. clifford alarms are the best
