I was told $3000 or so to repaint my car the same color.
I had my lip kit painted about 6 months ago and it cost me $600. that was with it off the car

Shop around. When I first started getting quotes, some wanted $3000 I told them to kiss my ass, tried to tell me all this BS, doors off, etc.

So I finally found a guy for $1200. The best? No, but def. worth it. If I was rich, sure, take my car for 3 weeks, remove my engine, paint under there, and do it all right. But if we were all rich, would we have an accord? :fawk:

 

very true. i must agree. i've always wanted to get my car resprayed (just exterior) the stock color, bordeaux red. the only thing is, is that its hard to get someone that can make it look like a stock paint job isn't going to rip you off. i just want to get rid or some of those annoying ass small scratches you see everytime you clean your car, and they never seem to wax out.

 

dude... it's taking out the engine that costs that much.... also the quotes are that high because we don't know if the car had any body damage that may have already been repaired... sometimes even the owner doesn't know it's been repaired..... dealers are sneaky. i charge anywhere between $800.00 (if you're going to buy the paint and that's for exterior only with no body damage) to $2875 (for everything including srtipping the interior of everything including wire harnesses and stuffs.)
