In the good old days of V8's and carbs--spacers were placed under the carb. This in effect created a longer intake runner length --which force air to run faster in the the chamber b/c of length it has to travel in short.

This type of theory may also work well with a TB at increasing plenum effective runner length. Don't knock until the dyno shows it to be false.

Not that its worth 80bucks, traditional dometic V8 spacers were often made from High density plastic and cost around 20bucks???

No, use should buy it only because you want to buy it. I'd do more research to prove to yourself why you may or may not want this item. The boards are a good seed place for ideas or links but the ultimate purchase should be yours.

If you really want to, go ahead but I truthfully doubt you will see any noticable gains.

I think we may have a guinea pig tester here.

You could always get a throttle body from gude. I doubt the spacer really does that much, but that's just me.

seriously doubt this will work, a 1/2 inch or 3/4" can't be that significant. besides, if this was to work, having individual throttle bodies would hav the opposite effect.
