I like blue and orange and they work together..they are complementary colors.

And i haven't seen anyone paint their cover that color..its usually red that i see.

Yeah, heat is great...you should remove your radiator too to get a little more heat going.

Why expose the factory rusty headers?

I know I'm kinda digging this thread back up, but I wanted to give an update. I just finishing painting my heat shield with VHT's hi-temp enamel in "universal aluminum." Looks so much better now than that sickening cream which was getting discolored from the heat. Huge aesthetic difference!

I will be painting my heat shield tomorrow, as well as finishing my stereo system install and installing my new remote controlled driving lights I got for Christmas:naughty:

I attempted to paint my heat shield today but it was hella hot when I went to take it off and burnt the hell out of my hands/fingers

But seriously, after I removed the 3 bolts that hold it on(actually Local Racer did it, thanks for the help bro:thumbup: ) I wasn't able to get the damn thing off cause the ac line was in the way. Anyone else have this problem? I mean, I could have gotten it off, but after it was painted I would have scratched it up getting it back on so why bother? I got a peek at my header too, ewwww.

I don't know man, I think i'd have to pack a lunch if I was to go heads up w/you, not like it would be a one hitter quitter.
