Car won't start??
Hi, I have a 1994 accord lx with 145k. Today after I get off from class and ready to go home. I could not start my car. All I can hear is a ticking noise from the distributor area. So am I having a bad distributor causing the issue? If so, can I just go to auto zone or dealership for replacement part. Thanks.
Have you tried boosting it?
If your battery is on it's way out, it may have enough juice to fire up interior stuff but not enough cranking amps. Depending on type of battery they can last only two years or as long as 5 -7 years. In my experience.

I will do that. Thanks for the head up. Well, maybe I did not describe it very well. I mean when I crank my car, I hear that very loud and noisy sound ( like something try to rotate inside the distributor but blocked ) from the distributor area. I am looking for a way to test where is the problem probably on tommorow. So really want to get some helps. Thanks in advanced.
Sounds like a starter to me, if it was your main relay it would fail to send a signal to your fuel pump and you wouldnt hear it come on when you turn your key on, It would still crank. If you think its your relay just take it out and resauder the contacts. Is it an automatic?
thanks for all input so far. I have figured that I have both a bad battery plus a bad starter. I have already put a new battery in it. My question is how to remove the starter. I search the forum, and people said that I only have to remove two 14mm bolts and pull it out? Any special tips or tools? Because I see many things in the engine bay which block the starter way out
