On my 1999 Accord 4DR EX-V6 I fill a tank around 14 Gallons and get around 270-290 miles on an avarage combination of highway and city.
So 270/14=~20MPG. This sucks and I wish I could change that but the car is running great.
Are there simple things that can be done to increase MPG?

That's really low for a 4 popper with 145 ponies. Are you sure there's not a sensor goofed up or something? I have a '99 Accord with the F23A1 and have never gotten below 30. On average I get 32-33 in the winter, 34-35 in the summer. I drive pretty aggresively too. It's a manual though, and I keep it tuned up pretty tight so that might have something to do with it.
