well it obviously depends on ur driving habits...if u do a lot of stop'n'go then u'll get worse mpg. if most of ur driving is cruising on the highway in 5th gear and ur not revving too high, it should be much better. i have a 95 ex w/ vtec, and i consistently get about 30-33 mpg with mostly highway driving.

I have a 92 Accord EX S/W w/ 2.2 I4 16V 248K plus miles. Just past the Maryland emission test yesterday. I get 21-24 city & 26-28 hwy. Better than my 2.0 Dodge Neon ACR. Best car I have driven so far in the past 21 years.

just out of curiosity, how old are you? I cant imagine an I4 automatic getting 24mpg highway...the edmunds.com long term 08 Accord V6 tester is getting much better than that.

In my 96 ex I get combined city/highway I get 28. I got considerably less before I adjusted my valves back to within tolerance and cleaned my air filter. I'd say probably more in the mid- to lower- 20s.

I've only had it for a month but 2000 Honda Accord EX L4 VTEC and I'm getting 23 mpg city. I did some highway driving and came out with a combined mileage of 25 mpg but most of the driving was city so it's hard to say what I'm getting on the highway. I imagine upwards of 29 mpg highway.

And this is with my rusty manual driving. Last time I owned a manual was about 5 years ago. Still working on smoothing out my shifting.
