Be aware that people will flame you, so don't take offense to any post after mine.....

You can buy an adapter that splits your cigarette lighter into four-six different ports....use that if you absolutely want to do this

alright well i think neons can look good in cars..

if you have an amplifier hooked up in your car, take the blue wire (the turn on lead-the wire that turns on the amp) and splice that and hook up the wires to that.

you will prob want to fuse that wire with a small fuse depending on how big the neons are so your amp doesnt like turn off or anything.

then your set, just make sure you hook up a ground wire to any solid metal part of your car.

if you dont have an amp then many other things will work like headlight wires so they will be on when your headlihts are.. or any other 12v power source. but the best is the amp.. cuase once your cd deck turns on so do the lights it looks really good.

alright neons can draw up to 15 amps easily. This is what i would do. take 12volt right off ur ignition harness or run another wire right to the battery. Fuse it @ 15 amps. I suggest using a relay so u dont burn anything up just incase. a relay is not required, but i think its a good thing to do

grab a relay and wire like so.

Relay terminal 85 - Ground
Relay terminal 86 - amp turn on lead from cd deck ( will only turn on when deck is on)
Relay terminal 97 - High Current 12v from ignition harness or Cd Deck
Relay terminal 30 - to postive wire of NEON

Ground the GROUND wire from neon.

if you want to use a switch to turn them on, then wire the relay up the same but 85 to constant 12v and 85 from switch, and switch will be grounded.
