I don't necessarily disagreed w/ using aftermarket ATF. In 2003 I bought a 92 Accord EX S/W auto trans w/ 181K miles. As soon as I had the car I drained the ATF and put in 3 qrts of high mileage Valvoline. I didn't have any problem. Last month w/ 247K miles I finally brought the car to Honda/Acura shop for complete drain/flushed. There are no shifting difference with Honda ATF or aftermarket fluid.

7.00 dollars a bottle is nothing compared to the repair costs you'll incur.

stop being cheap and stick with HONDA ATF. Its a known fact that honda transmissions fail when using other fluids aside from honda ATF... Read your owners manual or search.
Amen to that.
