Alpine M-bus changers are compatible with all "changer controlling" honda head units... with the addition of a special adapter. There are 2 adapters available, one that fits the panasonic made deck... which is a round DIN connector on the deck end, and the other is for the pioneer made decks, which has a rectangular molex plug for the deck.

The easiest way to check if your Honda deck will control a changer, is to look for a CD or CD CHG button. As far as I know, all the Honda in dash CD players will control a changer... and MOST new cassette decks.

The 98-up accord EX double DIN deck WILL control a changer.

Alpine doesn't make honda radios? Show me anywhere that says pioneer makes their radios. Know what you talk about before you write something. What does this link say.....

Whats that say, smart one??

YOU find proof that alpine makes honda's decks. Not some website that says it.

You obviously dont know **** about them, if you had to take the false info from a website.

My indash 6disc changer is Honda OEM. The manufacturer of the indash changer is Pioneer (or Panasonic? hard to remember back to when I installed it)--its marked on the bottom of the changer and the literature in the fineprint of the instruction manual.

Alpine could be the manufactor for some of the Honda units.
In any case Alpine changers will work with Honda OEM headunits as long as you purchase the correct adapter. They are not hard to find and are available for less then $50bucks.
