Primered black rims, that explains it... Sometimes I like 'em dark, but at first glance (at least in the pics) it seemed like the hubs were taken off -- first impression wasn't real great, but it's all good now that you're going graphite. I'm all for painting them.

thanks bro, but I have some bad news. I have a LX not EX and the hood is a dull black, not carbon fiber. I just got the EX alloys not too long ago, painted em graphite and slapped em on. The hood is black cause I rear ended a truck and had to replace the hood, not sure if I should just keep the existing color or paint the whole car IS300 Graphite grey metallic. I love this red color, and the rims and black hood look pretty nice IMO, kinda leaning towards keeping it this color. If I do, I'd just have the fender painted, leave the hood black, I like that look.

My rims aren't primered black, they are graphite, the pics suck that's why you can't tell. I'm gonna head out today to get some decent pics of my car now that it's dropped, will post them up hopefully tomorrow or later in the week.

im on stocks right now, will be getting KYB GR-2's soon:thumbup:
Ride is better than expected w/stocks, its firmer, yet still comfortable. It handles so much better on turns, its getting close to where my "SaucyCivic" was, it handled like a slot car. After I get the GR-2's, im gonna get a Neuspeed front strut tower bar, and if they make one, a Neuspeed rear lower tie bar. I'd like to get a sway bar too, can one from a TL-S or CL-S bolt on to my car? If not, Neuspeed hopefully makes a kit for my car and I'll go w/it. When I dropped it(front last weekend, rear this weekend) I am noticing that the rear is more cambered than the front, what thickness washers have you guys used in the rear(homemade camber kit) to alleviate this? What camber kit for the front is recommended? Should I get an alignment first to find out for sure how much correction I need? I would like to wait till I get the shocks that way I only have to pay $50 once, feel me?

dude i feel you and all but...i didn't get an alignment after i lowered mine the first time just cause i didn't have the money, i ended up waiting a month and i had some brand new tires on there and it ate them up in that one month. if you wait for the alignment your gonna be paying like 300$ versus 50 to replace your tires, now if you will have the shocks in like a week then yeah thats ok to wait a week.
