at first i didnt knew that u could run the starter. if the starter runs, then its not ur alarm.

whats ur status now?

D4 lights flashes?
CEL comes on?
Car running?

 

yeah the starter worked but the car just cranked. there was alot of clicking but not the starter solenoid. the d4 light still flashes. this guy didnt have time to check it out. i have to take it back. i just sprung the car on him. called him the next day to say hey that car blocking your entry way is mine and it wont start. literally. cel light works as it should. the d4 flashes 2 secs with the cel in the on position. havent seen the cel light come on when it shouldnt. car is running fine. starts up fine the cluster lights up fast. i think the ground wire may have been going bad the antifreeze helped it along.

the temp gauge needle is it suppose to start moving up past the cold line when the car is key is turned to the on position not started? does it pick up a reading in the on position if its been running then shut off and u turn the key to on say an hr later in this heat. none of the other gauge needles move in the on position they move in the run. it warms up almost too quickly.

the seatbelt chime works intermittently and the light isnt coming on at all. dont know if its the bulb or like the cel it wouldnt come on till the ground was fixed. i dont know where the seatbelt cable under the seat goes out too.. it will work if i jiggle the cable. didnt have this issue before.

i will update this thread as i get things checked.

 

If the car doesn't start,then buy a new one:P I wasn't serious,calm down.
