Default Type-R grill in the works...

started sawing, sanding and fiberglassing a little tonight...

No, its not much yet... tomorrow will be some fun with sanding and the fine detail work... hopefully by the end of the weekend I can have it all together...

Another project of mine included taking Cryogen97's idea, and making the variable rate flasher... only I used a different variable resistor so I can slow it down a lot as well as speed it up...

I'm gonna need this for my LED turn signals...

Is your accord a 94? I am thinking about doing this mod too but im kinda skurred. I have never done bodywork, worked w/bondo, so im kinda worried that it won't come out as good as the one's i've seen on the board. I want to do something different though, not quite sure what yet, everybody has the same Type-R grill, I want to change it up and do it a little bit different. We'll see what I come up with when I grow the balls to try it:naughty:

yeah, its a 94

its not too bad... fiberglass is relatively easy to work with... just a little messy.. and if once its dry you realize its messed up... just sand it down... same with bondo.

I'm gonna try to change mine up a little... nothin too fancy, just a lil somethin.

Pro-DIY! Screwing around with your own car is a lot more satisfying than paying hundreds of dollars for a pre-made part that everybody has.

Bravo.
