Type-R grill in the works...
I attempted to use fiberglass matting, but it never hardened... I was going to do both the black part and the painted part with the same stuff, then sand it all down and use the "sno-fine" bondo if I needed to correct anything. I'm gonna get another grille and try again... sometime. I'll get some new resin this time... the stuff I have has been sitting around for a while.
well, i'm in the middle of mine right now too. I used bondo fiberglass. I tried covering up the hole area, looks sort of like an arrow head. Anyways, it wouldnt stay in place.
So i cleaned it off, and put some duck tape on the back.
Anyways, put fiberglass on it.
Just got done sanding it back down. There's airpockets in the fiberglass. Not alot, but a couple. So after i sanded it down, i put some Bonda Body Fill on it. I'm waiting for it to dry now. Hopefully, it works.

how long did it take you to do it? That pic of your car in your sig is tight, what color is it? It looks like it could be black cherry, or is it just black?
