like I said the only automatic H22a here in the US is the tiptronics (sportshift) transmission and they use a diffrent TCM then your F22 trans so in order to use the 97+ prelude TCM you need the ECU,TCMand trans from a 97+ prelude + deal with the immobilizer. or to just have VTEC use a 96 accord EX auto ecu or no VTEC put your Dx ecu in to drive the car.

so you converted your car to OBD1 ? if so try a TCM from a 94-95 accord.

The FIRST problem is in you shifter. its hard as hell to take it out of park. That is common problem in CBs, but rare in CDs. swap that out w/ a good one, but if you wanna go more into it and try fixing it'll take a s*** load of time. (let me know if you wanna do that)

and for the second problem. i'm not so sure, does it work in all 1st through 3rd gears? i mean can you shift it in to 1, 2, or D3 and then drive? or only in 1st?

if it only runs in first, then try this, cruise at 20 and shift it into "2" w/ out taking your foot off the gas. and if it shifts in to 2nd then trying shifting it in to D3 @ about 30+ mph. and if that works then shift it into D4 at higher speed like at 40mph.

let me know what happens.

the problem is he swapped a H22a motor with a F22 auto trans into a 96 OBD2 car that has a PCM and using a JDM ECU (likely OBD1) with no TCM to control the trans. thus not getting out of park or shifting since theres no computer for the trans. as it was built into the F22 computer.
