Default Horn, Cruise and SRS not working..92 Accord LX

I recently swapped out the power steering rack in my wifes accord and while I was turning the wheel to check it out, the spring inside the wheel started making crunching noises. I realize that the wires for the cruise and horn and SRS were somehow disconnected. My question is how do I go about reconnecting them without setting off the SRS system?
I checked in the repair manual and it says something about jumping the SRS sytem but it was very confusing. Any help would be great since I don't really want to take it to the dealer.
Thanks.

It sounds like you broke the cable reel.

you broke the clockspring (cable in the steering wheel) when doing work on the steering system that the you disconnect the rack from the steering wheel you have to either lock the steering wheel or center the clock string or it will snap later. it's ablout a $180 part from the dealer or about $80 from a wrecking yard. just replace the part and the light will go out on it's own... also theres no way to read the SRS codes on 92-94 cars w/o dealer equipment 95+ can be read by jumping the SCS connector.
