you broke the clockspring (cable in the steering wheel) when doing work on the steering system that the you disconnect the rack from the steering wheel you have to either lock the steering wheel or center the clock string or it will snap later. it's ablout a $180 part from the dealer or about $80 from a wrecking yard. just replace the part and the light will go out on it's own... also theres no way to read the SRS codes on 92-94 cars w/o dealer equipment 95+ can be read by jumping the SCS connector.
