Really??? A SRI????? I didn't think those were that good because they suck in a lot of hot air. Isn't an OEM intake better than a short ram???? Thanks for all the help though. I really appreciate it. These are my last questions...maybe.
thanks,
josh

there isnt a huge difference between the air temp between the two intakes.

on the v6... sri yields a better response over the cai.

the stock intake is restricted, so the sri and car both have a small gain over the existing intake.

and stop using blue text.

Yeah, be careful with a CAI. They're good, but I see a "I hit a big puddle and my car won't start now" thread at least biweekly around here.

Thanks for all the help.
Ok I was originally going to get a volant intake system until I figured out it was not for my engine! Who has a 5th gen v6 and can help me find a SRI for my car???? I have been looking everywhere and I cannot find an SRI for my 5th gen v6 anywhere. (I'm not buying some crap sri made of tin foil off ebay.) So if any one knows of a good site that would be awesome!
THanks so much,
Josh

again.....get a drop in K& N filter.
You will not notice any significant gains with an SRI.
The only benefit IMO is the throaty noise you hear when you mash the accelerator.

Plus, you get to save some $$$ which can be used towards.......ummm...gas?..lol

Yea I think that sounds good, thats what I am going to do. Has anyone tried the gas saver things like the tornado? or something like it that swirls the air into the manifold to save gas? I just want to know if they are worth the money and they actually work. If anyone knows that would be sweet. Thanks.
