Default help!! CAI OR NEW FILTER????????

I need to buy a new air filter because I think that mine is too old and it is restricting air flow.
I was thinking about buying a k&n intake filter or I was going to buy a CAI.
I have a '97 ex v6. Money doesn't really matter I'm just looking for better gas mileage and more power would be cool too. WHICH WOULD BE BETTER....CAI or JUST A FILTER??????

Thanks a lot.

Go with the CAI. Relatively cheap way to get a decent amount of power.

alright so since it wet a lot here...ok all the time, it would not be a good idea to get a CAI because the filter would always be sopping wet and have road grim all over clogging it. So what I am thinking is that although a CAI would give me good power, a new k&n filter would be a more practical and reasonable idea because the CAI would end up clogged up.
am i right??
I am about to buy one of the things tonight so it would be nice to know.
Thanks a lot

As previously stated, the SRIs are good. I have a friend with an 01 v6 with an SRI and he likes it.
